CM Consultancy UK Ltd was formed in 2003 and its ethos is based on over 20 years of experience within the Recruitment and Training marketplace, including Branch Sales, Account Management, New Branch opening and Corporate Negotiation.  Working with a number of major Recruitment Agencies across the UK, we are also fortunate to work with Kelso8 , supplying a variety of Consultant Training programmes to the UK's top IT Recruitment company, together with public sector and independent organisations

Like most of the recruitment Consultants the Directors have met through the years, we did not leave education with a passion to join the Recruitment Industry.  Visiting a branch of a large national organisation to ask for help .... we soon found ourselves working within the industry!  But it really did not take long for us to find the passion and what followed was a career that included managing a Temporaries' Division, becoming a Director in a small partnership and working for the largest national independent at all levels.  We soon realised that, whilst the passion had not waned - the one area that often failed to incite this in others was TRAINING!

We have, between us,  have over 50 years' experience of working within Recruitment both as Consultants and Trainers, and believe that we have probably experienced many of the challenges and objections that are passed to Consultants every day. 

Throughout this career, we have been very aware that it is often challenging to budget, both in financial and logistic terms, for ongoing, full-time training and development whilst it is, nevertheless, crucial to help those under-performing, established or new Consultants reach their goals and targets.  We are also extremely aware of the challenges faced by organisations when the need for new Consultants to 'hit the desk running' overtakes the real need to ensure that they are confident and motivated to do so.  Too often this challenge sits with the Branch or Regional Manager - who is also trying to ensure that his/her targets are met and the business does not suffer due to the time taken to train

However, traditional training methods can be outside of an organisation's budget - or appear not to be cost effective? 

 

The turnover statistics of Recruitment Consultants has always been amongst the highest in industry.  Research has always determined that many recruits leave the industry due to a feeling of inadequacy, not understanding the role and not feeling the passion that is required to be successful.  This research not only affects the recruit - but reduces morale in both your organisation and the industry as a whole.  

 

It is upon this understanding that CM Consultancy was founded.  Our Training and Consultancy service is appropriate to both smaller, specialist and independent agencies and also to the global, multinationals, as it works on a Stepping Stone to Success approach where the initial processes and methodologies are offered whilst ensuring that they also have the tools to be successful within the shortest period of time.
